Low Noise Amplifier
What is it?
A Low Noise Amplifier (LNA) takes low power signals and amplifies them. This model also incorporates a band pass filter which only passes certain frequencies, filtering out frequencies from unwanted terrestrial sources.
What does it do in the LSTN kit?
The Low Noise Amplifier receives the signal from the antenna. It then amplifies and filters the signal before passing it on to the Software Defined Radio.
